Seal, foot, head (2017)

Made at CalArts in my third year for an independent study with Maureen Selwood.  Traditionally animated and shot on a downshooter.

Maureen gave me a list of 20 different prompts for animation exercises, I picked 10 and drew vignette drawings based on the prompts, and she chose the 3 drawings she liked the most and wanted to see animated.

An experiment with using camera movements and reversing footage to put the animation in different contexts.
