SECRETS AND LIES IN A TOWN OF SINNERS (2020)
Secrets and Lies in a Town of Sinners is an independently produced 10-episode cartoon, funded by my generous supporters on Patreon. The series is a prologue to Barber Westchester.
Secrets and Lies in a Town of Sinners was born out of necessity. I had decided to produce my now-released feature film Barber Westchester independently, but found myself having creative blocks to writing the project. I decided to make a miniseries fleshing out the town Barber Westchester came from. I drew a map of the town and started to imagine what was happening in each of the houses I drew. Many characters are from old unfinished projects that found new life in this context. Slowly as I put the episodes together, a narrative started to appear and I decided to lean into it, and then bleed it into the story of the Barber Westchester feature.
Each of these episodes were written-animated-edited-etc. by me in early 2020, usually completed over the course of a week. The whole series was completed in early May 2020.
