This was a short I made for A Studio Digital. I had been wanting to make this short for a long time. I had the idea because when I was a middle schooler on brony forums I found a thread on “pony tulpas” which freaked me out really bad, and I would occasionally remember it over the years, and in 2020 I wrote the script for this. I never really had an opportunity to put it together so I decided to use the freedom I had at ASD to do it. Maddie Brewer voiced Edgar and Butterquiet. Lindsey DeMars voiced the therapist. Rani Sharone did the music and sound design.
